About Golf


Enjoy a beautiful round of golf on our classic golf course featuring 18 holes and beautiful scenery such as Bayou Desiard. The use of the Bayou DeSiard golf course is exclusive to members and their registered guests. We offer members and their guests a premium traditional golfing experience with driving ranges, golf lessons, club storage, and golf carts available.
 
Golfers of the Bayou DeSiard Country Club golf course are expected to keep proper golf etiquette such as attire, game time, hole-to-hole play, and so forth. Members can visit the Member Login side of our website to view starting tee times and may reserve playing times if they wish. We welcome guests on our course and may be registered through this portal, as well!
 
Throughout the calendar year, our club hosts around three tournaments open to members and other registered players. Each tournament is accompanied with lunch (or dinner) and beverages held in the main Clubhouse! We are also happy to host junior play on the golf course, though, with specified tee times available.

Nick has been at BDCC since October of 2020. Born and raised in Augusta, Ga, Nick began his professional career at The Ford Plantation in Savannah, Ga. After 6 years in Savannah, Nick accepted the Sr. Assistant position at Baton Rouge Country Club followed by his first head professional job at Greenville Golf & C.C. in Mississippi. When Nick is not at the club he enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Bill was born and raised in Bastrop, Louisiana and began playing golf at an early age at Morehouse C.C. Bill has been a member of the PGA for over 10 years and has been at BDCC for 4 years. Bill enjoys playing golf with the membership and is currently the senior division liaison to the Gulf States PGA Tournament Committee.

General golf guidelines & guest policy


Members are urged to see that all rules regarding the golf course are followed and any violations reported to the Golf Professional. (Please see your member handbook for a detailed list of policies.)
  • The Bayou DeSiard Country Club conducts play under the rules of the United States Golf Association.
  • All golfers are required to wear proper golf attire while playing a full round or just practicing.
  • Club storage is available upon request for your golf bag with or without bag cart.
  • All players are required to respect the care and upkeep of the course.
  • Any food or drink on the golf course must be purchased from the main Clubhouse (namely, the 19th Hole).
  • Club-owned carts are available on a rental basis to all members, their spouses, and adult guests.
