About Us

Bayou DeSiard Country club was incorporated in 1945 with the purpose of establishing and maintaining a country club: house and grounds, a golf course, tennis courts, a swimming pool, one or more dining rooms to provide such other forms of recreations, amusement and entertainment as customary to the usual conduct of a country club.
 
On Labor Day of 1948, our club was opened as a 9-hole golf course. Bayou DeSiard Country Club was built on land donated by the Beidenharn family and developed by charter members who donated their time, equipment and materials for construction at cost. In later years, more land was purchased for the second 9 holes creating a full 18-hole golf course.
 
Our Club remains an exclusive private family country club and we hope you enjoy being a member, visiting us, or consider membership for our wonderful establishment!
